"I booked a birthday trip for my boyfriend and this little cabin was perfect! The cabin was super cute! The kitchen, living room, bedroom combo totally had enough space for two! We cooked breakfast here multiple mornings and found all the standard pots/pans, plates, utensils, etc. in the kitchen.The backporch view was absolutely stunning!! I had morning coffee on the back porch each day! There is without a doubt a bear living right off the hill behind all the cabins. The first morning we were there, I opened the front door and a bear was sitting on the concrete, next to my car, looking at me! The bear made multiple appearances and you could definitely see from the backporch where the bear dumps his trash and food containers. Our last morning at the cabin, as we were loading the car, the bear showed up and was literally on our front porch. The bear ended up running across the pavement into the front porch of another cabin and sitting in the rocking chair, watching my boyfriend and I, and the other family at the cabin beside us. It was so crazy!!! I don't think we will ever be able to top that experience! The cabin is like 10 minutes from the downtown strip. It was super easy to navigate to and from anywhere we wanted. We drove to Pidgen Forge one night for dinner and that was only a 20/25 minute drive. That was super easy to navigate also. Traffic was not the worse and we found parking easily. The HillBilly Golf was definitely our favorite mini golf in Gatlinburg."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a great time with our family. We especially loved the amount of space the cabin provided, which made it very comfortable for everyone.There were a few minor things that could have been better. The outside yard had just been mowed, but the small golf area had not been blown off. There was also a wooden stand-up checker game that was broken and had not been put away or replaced. We couldn’t find a dustpan, and although we found a vacuum, there was no charger available for it to work.The biggest disappointment was the pool. It was advertised as heated, but the water was very cold and unfortunately wasn’t usable for us. The pool area had a lot of peeling paint and debris. The host was great about responding and even had someone come out to take a look at it, but unfortunately, the issue was not resolved during our stay.Other than the pool, I would consider everything else to be minor. Despite these issues, we had a great time, and our family really enjoyed the cabin and our stay."
