"Lovely room, but an uncomfortable bed. I prefer a softer mattress and firmer pillows. Fantastic views. The outdoor pool was closed, but there was an indoor pool. Cocktails at the restaurant/bar were tasty. Breakfast included a good variety of options. The coffee machine was a nice feature. I appreciated being able to take my breakfast to the outdoor restaurant seating area. The shower was awkward for my short self, but there was a separate tub in the bathroom that I used instead."

"Our stay at AGI Traditional was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, our holiday got off to a difficult start after we were scammed by a taxi driver shortly after arriving in Romania. The owners were incredibly kind and supportive, helping us understand what had happened and even arranging safe transport back to the airport. Their care and generosity went far beyond what we would ever expect from accommodation owners. The property itself is simply stunning. The amount of work, creativity and attention to detail that has gone into AGI Traditional is incredible. It is unlike anywhere we have ever stayed before and has a real wow factor. Every corner is unique and full of character. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming. It felt like a home from home whilst still being wonderfully quirky and special. What really makes this place stand out are the owners. They genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible stay. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness during a stressful situation. AGI Traditional is truly a hidden gem and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Romania. We hope to return in the future with our children so they can experience this wonderful place for themselves. Thank you for everything, we will never forget your kindness."

"We booked our stay at the Resort Ambiant (2 separate rooms); however when we got there to our surprise, the checking was done at a different location (Conac Ambiant) a smaller place at approximately 300 meters away. No explanation or compensation was provided and we were asked to contact Expedia since the booking was done through a third party. Although we specifically requested and pay for 2 twin beds, the room offered had a matrimonial bed. (Room was shared by 2 adult males ). The hotel /conac is not a 5 star hotel! More like a 2 star hotel : old furniture without air conditioning, very average breakfast and is lacking the amenities/quality of a real hotel. The staff is unexperienced and not helpful. We were scammed and it’s very disappointing since we are Romanians as well. We have travelled all over the world and it has never happened to us to book a hotel online and end up at a different location (smaller and lower quality). Do not book this place!"

"This was not just a nice little Inn near Bran Castle… it was exquisitely decorated and furnished! Truly, 5 stars does not do it justice. Our stay there was fantastic, we had the “Dracula” Suite which was very large, great view, and memorable. One thing really stood out about the room - the towels smelled amazing !!! I’ve travelled all over this planet and stayed in hundreds of hotels - but never had I stepped out of the shower, grabbed the towel to dry off and said “wow these towels smell good”. The staff were incredibly friendly. The Inn was centrally located with a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and drinking establishments, and plenty of souvenir shops. Lastly, if you have their free breakfast…. The eggs Benedict and latte were fantastic !"
