This preserved mill town invites you to explore its historic brick buildings and pristine Harrisville Pond. Rent kayaks at the general store or time your visit for the Apple Harvest Festival when local artisans showcase traditional New Hampshire crafts.
I had an amazing seven night stay at the Carriage Barn Inn. It is very cozy and Joe is a wonderful host. Excellent breakfast options and a great, quiet location that is perfect for visiting Keene and the surrounding areas. Couldn’t recommend more!

Cute little place to spend few days if you don't mind the lack of pool, gym, bar, spa, etc. The only miss here was that the booking says that there is breakfast provided, but it's actually just a snack bar in the lobby.

Staff was very supportive and polite. We appreciated the breakfast, the fridge and microwave which other motels we stayed at on this trip did not include.
