The Whole Front House

The property is peaceful, and private, with one of the best views in Kaikoura. We have five acres of gardens for you to explore, from fruit orchards to sculpted native bush. We are situated on the coast of Mangamaunu and are a two-minute walk from the world-renowned surf beach below. Relax and recharge at one of the most stunning and special locations in New Zealand.
'The Whole Front House' is designed as three separate guest suites, with three individual entrances. This layout ensures privacy, making it ideal for larger groups of families but still allows for their own space.
The front house offers four bedrooms accommodating up to 8 guests. Each suite has a bathroom a kitchen/kitchenette, featuring a fridge, gas stove top, oven, toaster, and kettle. The three individual accommodations that make up the front house are: The Surfwatch House, Oceanview Suite and Hapuku Studio.
Please note - the Oceanview Suite and the second bedroom in Surfwatch House can be made up as a king-size bed, or two king singles. Please let us know before your stay which you would prefer, and we will make it up to suit your needs.

The property is located 10 minutes north of Kaikoura, a beautiful beach town known for whale watching, fishing, surfing, and cycling trails. Mangamaunu Beach is a 2-minute walk down the driveway, perfect for a morning stroll, swimming, or fishing off the beach. The beach is home to many native New Zealand birds, dolphins and the New Zealand fur seals.
Come and indulge yourself in the beautiful scenery that the Kaikoura coast has to offer, from the snowy Alps to the peaceful ocean.
You will have access to the whole front house, and the five-acre gardens and lawns.

There is an option of adding another queen-sized bed in the large open-plan room which would allow for up to 10 guests in total then, but please inform us once you make your booking and there will be an extra person(s) fee.
