Two day mission to Christchurch.

The Daffodil motel is in a very good position. It is a nice walk into the city through Hagley park. There are many shops and eateries close by. The room was large and very clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly and attentive. It was the perfect place for me to stay at for my two day mission to Christchurch.

Clean and comfortable stay

Staff was wonderful, and a clean nice place to stay after landing in Christchurch after a very long flight. Walking distance to shops and restaurants made it also convenient and there was a place to park our campervan too which was awesome.

A very good motel to stay. It is clean and in very good condition. The bed could do with replacing as it was pretty well worn, saggy, but we did have a good sleep.

Once I worked out the key situation, I was in a warm, clean, spacious room with modern facilities that functioned well. Having now stayed at a few places around the park, this has by far been the best. Staff were responsive to emails through the night and helped with requests. Well done!

The location was fantastic! Room was wonderful. Only one issue, I a was travelling for work & required iron and ironing board! These weren’t in the room and I had to ask another guest to borrow them! Would have got a perfect score apart from that😞

Location is good, check in was a bit strange. Never had a photo of my ID taken, especially when booked by an app. Rooms are very basic and stark. The only art on the bare white walls was a smoke free site and fire escape instruction. Pillows were so flat it took 3 to get comfortable. There was a set of house rules that was more loke a school dorm set of rules. Visitors only allowed between 8am and 8pm, rooms to be kept tidy, no alcohol or smoking, etc... It matched the feel of the room..... not a first choice...
