Fantastic staff and good breakfast. The location is perfect. Is it spotless? No. But if you want a "white glove" level of clean, go somewhere else and pay 5x the price. For a solid, well-located stay that won't break the bank, this is it.

Our stay was amazing. All of the employees were amazing. Kevin, Qui, and Gem were especially very kind and helpful. They were able to do our laundry very quickly and the room was quiet and clean. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel is old and not well maintained. It was probably nice 20 years ago but it certainly didn’t rate the 4 star rating Expedia gave it. The room was clean, but everything was worn. Room temp was tricky and the hot water lasted 4 minutes before it turned cold. The elevator didn’t go all the way to the top and I needed to carry my bags up steep winding stairs to get to my room. The location was the only benefit and it was walking distance to many attractions in the city as well as food options in the Old Quarter. Front desk staff, especially Mrs. Jessica, were quite helpful and accommodating. For the price I paid, I feel like it should have been a better place. I won’t stay there again.

Gold Sun Villa sent us last minute to cancel our stay & changed our stay to other hotel that I rated it 2 to 2 1/2 star, not 4 stars as they emailed us.It was good location in old town, however the interior was old & not clean. My room had ants & cracked floor. Furniture has broken knobs. Room had balcony that we couldn’t walk outside bc of messy pots. Unhappy stay.
