"Good location and cool vibe for accommodation. The bathtub on the balcony was a nice touch, though the water didn’t quite get hot enough. The bed was comfy and room cleaned well by the staff, they kept in touch via WhatsApp for any support / local recommendations / transport arrangements. The view from the pool/restaurant is incredible and worth heading up for. "Our stay at Lanta Miami was bliss. This is such a peaceful place and fantastic for a 3 star resort. We had a family beach bungalow and it was spacious with 2 king beds. Daily cleaning was really appreciated. The pool area does need a bit of updating but there’s so much shade and the pool is kept so clean. Being right on the beach was wonderful. We snorkelled immediately off the beach. The restaurant is great. We ate there almost the whole time as other places weren’t any better. You can get alcohol from the restaurant too. Local amenities good, walking distance to what you’ll need. We had stayed in Phuket the week before at a 4 star which was hugely disappointing. Lanta Miami was what we needed, chilled, peaceful and beautiful. "

"The hotel is excellent value for money - Great rooms, big and well maintained pool, nice spa/massage parlor (which is a little more expensive than the local norm) and the beach on our doorstep. Breakfast is varied and good quality. The staff speak very good English at the reception and are very helpful. On the quieter side of the island, perfect if that’s what you are looking for. The main pier for speedboats is about 40 mins away (if you are interested in day trips). The local beach is really fantastic - clean, nice sand, great water (good for kids) and beautiful sunsets. If you want nightlife and shops, the closest is 15 mins away at Khlong Nin. "

"We asked on the first day of our 3 day stay if the could fix the shower. They shower never got fixed. Then we could smell the septic system (poop smell) all day long in the room. we needed up closing the door to the bathroom and running the fan all day, everyday while there. I would not recommend."

"We had a lovely stay at Nirvana. Our room was beautiful and spacious, overlooking the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool is lovely and the swim up bar was great fun. There are paddleboards available for free use throughout the day. We organised a snorkelling trip and airport transfer through the hotel and they were very helpful with organising these. We also rented a scooter from the hotel which was a great way to see the island. Breakfast was tasty and in a beautiful setting overlooking the beach. The location of the hotel is good, you can walk or take a short scooter/taxi ride to a range of restaurants and other beaches. The beach at the hotel is stunning and quiet. Our negatives were - we had dinner at the hotel one evening and although friendly, the service was extremely slow and we ended up leaving before dessert as we'd been waiitng so long. The food itself was lovely. The jacuzzi bath on the balcony of the room took a long time to fill. Bear this in mind if you opt for this room, you'll need to wait a while before each use. The shower was a bit dated with poor water pressure. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future "
