Beautiful 3 1/2 room apartment in a multi-family chalet in Habkern, just 7 km above Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland. Well-equipped kitchen, large living room, 2 separate bedrooms, bathroom, separate toilet, balcony. Shared washing machine and dryer, in-house parking lot.

Getting there; from Bern / Lucerne to the Unterseen / Thun / Beatenbert exit. Then towards Interlaken and afterwards towards Beatenberg / Habkern. Turn right towards Habkern. Drive in Habkern to the end of the village and turn right in front of the sports hotel. The settlement 'Im Zäundli' is immediately on the left. Drive into the small parking lot and house B is on the right.

With the tourist tax, the holiday guests receive a guest card, which gives them free entry to the swimming pool, free use of public transport according to the network map and other discounts that you will find in the brochure on arrival.

Wir waren mit unserem Hund unterwegs. Spazierengehen direkt von der Wohnung aus gut möglich. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, sauber, gemütlich, angenehm ruhig. Der Ort liegt so, dass man mit Auto oder Bus/Bahn viele tolle Ziele erreichen kann.

We had a great time at Habkern close to the Interlaken. The rooms are spacious. I recommend to reach to the location early before dark. Kitchen has all the required utilities.

Comfortabel en compleet appartement in een mooie en rustige omgeving. We waren er drie weken in het voorseizoen. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad; fijn gewandeld met onze hond in de directe omgeving en regelmatig met de Postbus naar Interlaken gegaan (gratis voor toeristen)

We had a wonderful time at the apartment by Ms Baker. She was very responsive and provided all the details. The apartment was well-kept and clean when we arrived. I was amazed by the scenery and the location. There were issues with the beds at the apartment though. The main bedroom's bed was creaky and the bunk bed's slates even bent a lot and creaky (making it dangerous). - This is with normal-sized adults. This should be looked into and fixed. Also, there was no washer/dryer in the basement of the unit as listed. The washer room had no machines. I'd certainly come back here if I visit Interlaken region again. Thanks for hosting us and prompt communications.

Spending a week in Habkern was a wonderful experience. Extremely quiet location (perfect for a rejuvenating retreat in the mountains), yet very convenient as a home base for excursions/day trips to more touristic places (Interlaken, Jungfraujoch, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Schynige Platte etc) and nearby scenic hikes. Took full advantage of the Habkern guest passes provided by the condo owner (access to many local buses for free and discounts for many activities), not having to deal with driving and parking was fantastic and made the whole experience even more relaxing. The condo itself is exactly as described in the ad, extremely clean, very spacious and comfortable. The balcony offers beautiful views and is a haven of peace. The owner was very kind and helpful, check-in and check out super easy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to stay while exploring the many wonderful outdoor activities available nearby. Would definitely love to visit again!

This place is just few kilometers Interlaken town. A very convenient and timely bus service runs regularly from multiple stops that are at walkable distance. The view is gorgeous and village life feel. Ms. Bakers apartment is very spacious, clean and convinent. I recommend the place.

We needed main floor accommodation for one member with accessibility issues and there were a few more steps to the main floor than we anticipated. The tub shower was an issue as well. This really was our fault for not checking further with the owner. Otherwise it was a lovely adequately equipped apartment in a beautiful Swiss mountain village. We enjoyed our stay.

We found the vendor very friendly and the challet was excellent. The public swimming pool 30 mtrs up the road is a blessing in the hot weather.
