"Communications pre booking were Poor, I wasn’t sent the deposit link so had to phone and ask, wasn’t sent check in details so had to phone and ask, they then arrived at 3.01pm on the day (check in is from 3) Property could really do with some improvements, paintwork dirty with lots of bare patches, to open the skylight you had to climb on your bed (and there was no other openable window) the bathroom had no toilet roll holder, no shelf for your toiletries, the shower had no shelf for toiletries,...

"Hotel tired and in need of updating. Dirty pillow cases! Heating in room not working, electric fan heater provided with feet missing - potential fire hazard! Staff very friendly, polite welcoming, attentive and happy! Food great, bar service great. Attention to food allergy great! "

"We have just returned from here and oh my god it is absolutely perfect! It’s the loveliest building and the rooms are sooooo nice and spacious! We were looking for somewhere dog friendly as we have 3 and it was literally perfect! We are in love with it and can’t wait to stay again! The staff were also so so nice and lovely! Gave loads of attention to the dogs and just really pleasant (maybe in future a real lovely add on would be a dog menu with them being dog friendly but it absolutely didn’t...

"We have stayed here before and it was perfect. Unfortunately this time round it wasn't. The room was cold. We put the heating on which was switched off at some point during the night. Leading to me having excruciating pain. Then there was a huge amount of noise through the night above and at the side of us. I think we were place next to staff quarters or where they do work in the hotel. Didn't sleep at all and it was frustrating. But the Spa was amazing and Anastasia was brilliant."
