Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful for the late night/early morning access route for when the pub is closed. The room was looking a bit tired, particularly the bathroom. There were knocks in the walls that needed filling, the bag that had a bathmat in looked stained, there were toothpaste splatter marks on the wall, and there were cobwebs around the window. The breakfast was nice, but the staff member only offered us basic tea and coffee as a drink as if those were the only options, no juice, and it was only after the table next to us received drinks like a cappuccino that we then ordered a nicer coffee. When it came to check out we had to look around for a while to find someone.

The room was hot but then outside temp had reached 35 degrees on the day we arrived! Two fans in the room helped plus a couple of showers. Room and ensuite were well presented and breakfast was just perfect.

We booked this hotel as we were going to see Eric Clapton at G Live, from the moment we walked through the door we were made welcome by the owner Alfie, everyone we talked to couldn't be more friendly, the food was exceptional ( lunch and breakfast) and the room perfect, highly recommend staying here.

I never normally do reviews but what a fantastic hotel. From the very minute of arrival I welcomed into the Percy Arms. Fantastic warmth and generosity from all those involved. The rooms were absolutely amazing and well presented throughout. The ample parking and amazing food was another great addition to a fantastic stay. I will definitely be back. A very well recommended hotel and venue.

The room was incredible and we enjoyed our stay here enormously. The staff were all exceptionally helpful, humourous and kind; the bath in the room was one of the reasons we booked (and it delivered); and the food at breakfast was second to none. We'll definitely visit again!
