Right next to train station so very convenient if you are traveling by train. Several good restaurants and the old town are within a short (maybe 8 min.) walk. One word of caution…it says AC but hotels in the area do not turn on AC until May 1st no matter how hot it may be in April!

The hotel was perfect for our family of four, the from was big and quiet, clean and the service was great, the area around the hotel amazing and people was very nice.

It’s a nice hotel with the reasonable price and best location. The service was great too, everyone was helpful but I’d like to mention Marco at the from desk, the best customer service and I’ll definitely come back to grosseto

Positive: the hotel is right next door to the train station, not far to walk. The cappuccinos were great in the mornings, and the staff was nice. Breakfast was good but they need to add some more variety, not just a lot of cakes and breads, meats and cheeses but add afew American choices for travelers also. Some oatmeal would have been nice. More pancakes- for sure.. The rooms are clean..the hotel is keep clean, appearance is good inside. Staff helpful. Things needing attention for better comfort. A/C is not very cold at all (take a small fan with you to circulate air) the mini frig is not cold at all..the bed mattress is very hard and they need to put some top comforter pads on the beds. The pillows need some fluff..very hard and flat. We stayed 6 nights ( we had some personal family business to tend too) and hopefully the a/c, bed mattresses, pillows will be updated in the future..that would make a big difference in comfort level. I'd give them a 8 rating out of 10 👍

Great bang for your buck.
We were only there for one night but it was enough for us to feel welcomed. The desk clerk was warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was pretty good - simple and comfortable. The breakfasts are fantastic.

A fairly large hotel that still retains an individual Italian feel. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent location within 1 or 2 minutes of train and bus stations. But at end of May both were still operating very limited winter services. A pity! Grosseto itself is well worth a visit and could become a good centre if public transport were available to more places of interest.

Nice and friendly hotel
Very near to train station and there halal kebab rest. Very friendly english speaking receiption who open the bfast early morning for us to catch early train. Would stay at Grosetto agan, nice and quite town

Great stay if construction is complete next-door
The staff was nice, the hotel was conveniently located right next to the train station, the room was clean and comfortable, everything was great except for the fact that they put me in the end room which was right outside of a very loud construction area. This construction area had heavy machinery which resulted in my room shaking and the bed shaking and was very loud. It did stop in the evening but started up again at 8 AM. Also the air conditioning quit sometime in the middle of the night and the room became very hot. And lastly, some repair work was being done on the bathroom directly below me, so at eight 830 in the morning loud hammering began. It would've been a wonderful stay if it had not been for those circumstances. When I described the situation to the woman at the checkout, she did apologize, but did not offer any compensation. Not even compensation for the peanuts I ate out of my mini bar.

Great Hotel
Great location as the hotel is right at the train station and main bus stop. The included breakfast had a variety of sweet and savoury pastries and biscuits, as well as spreads, meats, cheeses, cereal, yogurt, juice and fantastic barista coffee made to order. The service was great and the two reception staff I met spoke English. Wifi worked well and the room was clean, modern and comfortable.

Beside train station AND easy walk to the Centro
Located in the same small square as the train station, this hotel is an excellent place to start your visit to Grosseto. Not a new hotel BUT they have clean rooms, comfy beds, an excellent included breakfast AND a ten minute walk to the old city center (where everything seems to be going on). Easy train hops to Siena, Florence and Rome. Staff awesome and very helpful. Highly recommend Hotel Nueva Grosseto.

Very good place to stay in Grosetto, close to the city center and with lots of restaurants. Very friendly staff. Only downside is that breakfast is very thin and could definitely use a bit more selection.
