"The room was very clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was good and a lot of variety. We didn't have time to use the pool or the workout room or the hot tub, if there was one. But they look clean as well. We would stay there again without a doubt. Love that it's no smoking no pets."

"The entire staff during our stay were beyond welcoming and helpful starting with David and “Coke” at the front desk. From the moment that we checked in, and throughout our three day stay, they treated us like family as if we were repeat guests whom they’ve known for years. The property is kept up well and is in a great central location close to shops, restaurants, and the highway. The room was spacious and bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was great. The only thing that we felt needs improvement but will still give 5 stars for is that while the bathroom is very roomy, there is no shelf or counter where to place anything such as a robe, towels, toiletries or change of clothes. We look forward to staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Chesapeake on any future trips to the area."

"I recently stayed at Comfort Inn with my daughter and niece and overall had a positive experience, rating it a 4 out of 5. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast—it was fresh, well-stocked, and had a good variety of options to start the day. We also really enjoyed having access to the pool and were able to get a nice swim in together, which made the trip even more fun and relaxing. The only downside was that the ice machine near the front desk wasn’t working during our visit, which was a bit inconvenient. However, aside from that minor issue, everything else met expectations. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay for us, and I would consider staying here again."

"Dirty sticky floors and walls, hair in bed under the sheets and in bathtub upon arrival. Toilet leaked and often did not flush. TV turned on but most channels just showed an error. Had an interaction with the hotel attendant after calling the 800 number to voice a complaint. He stated that they tried knocking on the door the day before but we didn’t answer, however I had only reported the issues a few minutes prior to our interaction. Not a fan of being lied too. All in all I wasn’t expecting the comfort and quality of the Ritz but I was expecting a working toilet, clean floor, sheets and tub. This was my 3rd time in the last 10 years staying at a Red Roof Inn. 2 of the 3 times have been bad. Safe to say it will be another 10 years before I do it again. I also have photos, video, screenshots and audio recordings of all the issues as well as interaction with the one staff member."

"The staff is great. They must have kept my notes from a prior stay, they put me in a corner room/ top floor which was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Bed linens impeccably clean. Interior of the room clean and well maintained. That said, cosmetically speaking, the property is showing signs of wear, which is to be expected, I suppose. Overall, this is a great value, with a friendly and attentive staff, where you can get a peaceful night's sleep despite it being in a somewhat busy area of Chesapeake."

"We came to our room about 1:30am and there was no towels or wash cloths in room so that we can take a shower. My son went downstairs the next morning around 9 am and the lady said that they had no clean linens. How you didn’t have any the whole day before or the next morning. Did they check the rooms. So mad I had to go buy towels to wash"
