"This hotel has been there forever! I remember staying there as a kid over 25 years ago. I enjoyed it then and I enjoyed it now. I have to admit I was very disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working and did not know that until the day we arrived however the manager offered a couple of options to make up for it. The tub did start working on our last night but the water wasn’t warmed up enough to enjoy it. The pool is not heated so be warned it’s cold. It did not stop my kids from enjoying it though. Also the beach is a short walk from the hotel just put on bug spray, the mosquitos are thick through there. What impressed me the most was their beds! The best sleep I have ever gotten at a hotel. I definitely will be returning. They made us feel right at home. "

"Stayed in one of the fireplace rooms , very spacious and loved the 2nd floor privacy ( corner room) bed is super comfortable! Beautiful grounds . Dinner in the Roosevelt room was delicious. Gorgeous area "
