Ocean Star Inn

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is a gem. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is AWESOME. The rooms are SUPER clean, it smelled like lightly like Clorox when I walked in the bathroom - good sign. The staff was constantly cleaning tables and making sure breakfast was well stocked. We loved our stay here, great price. The hotel is older but lots of renovations have been done and they are doing something different from other big hotels - ACTUALLY CLEANING."

"I travel frequently for work and usually stay at Marriott or Hilton properties. Since there are few options I chose Expedia for my trip to Olympic National Park. The management of this hotel is fantastic. Everything was clean, staff helpful, great breakfast for this type of hotel and tons of snacks for guests to enjoy. The outdoor area was a wonderful place to have breakfast in the morning and a bottle of wine in the evening. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to the park!"

"The parking can be difficult to navigate if you are not familiar with the area. I was not aware that I had to register at one location and stay in another, so that was a bit overwhelming. Also, not having a bathroom in the room was a bit frustrating. However, the property itself was great, and the staff was extremely helpful!"

"The room was very clean and amenities were okay. Hot tub drain got stuck and couldn't be drained. I called the staff and it was very late for anyone to come out and help, but I was disappointed that it got stuck in the first place. Two lamps were in the room, both of which were not working. One lamp's socket was flawed, so once we switched the socket, it worked. The bedside one was too close to the wall for us to check what the issue was. But the button didn't work. Overall I wish the property manager and housekeeping checks everything in rooms before giving the room out to people. The view from the room was no doubt, breathtaking!"

"La habitación estaba sucia. Todos los muebles tenían bastante polvo. Ya en la ducha me doy cuenta que no había acondicionador. También, creo da muy mal aspecto que la tina esté oxidada. Además, había manchas en las sábanas, no sé si eran permanentes o de que eran esas manchas cafés. En la noche, encendí el televisor e intenté bajar el volumen pero no servía el botón de bajar el volumen, solo los otros. El desayuno es bastante básico. Y hay solo 2 tipos de frutas y están completas, no cortadas. Si quieres salir a la terraza, la puerta está muy dura para abrirse y está muy feo afuera."
