« My son and I were in town for a fishing tournament on Kerr Lake. The property was perfect for us. It is definitely off the beaten path, but we loved it. Couldn't use the dock because the water was too high in the lake, but we loved it. »

« The house decor is an eclectic mix of vintage meets modern and rustic. Great spacious living room/kitchen open floorplan with a separate dining room which worked great for our group of 10! The kitchen had everything we needed! Beds were comfortable with 4 on the main floor and the 5th downstairs. Note - There is no bathroom downstairs! « Located in a quiet neighborhood. Convenient parking. Restaurants and shopping areas are close. Cottage was very clean and beds were comfy. When we return to the area, I would definitely stay here again. »

« The Carriage House could not have been any more perfect for our stay in Hillsborough. Great location, clean, cozy, and comfortable for the two of us. We left thinking this beautiful little cottage will be “our place” whenever we travel to Hillsborough to visit our kids and grandkids! »

« The hosts were very easy to work with, and the house was in great condition. Very nicely decorated, modern, had all the necessities. The neighborhood--the street and nearby commercial district--are definitely in transition and not ideal for walking. We felt uncomfortable taking our dogs out, even as people who have lived in NYC/Chicago during the 80s :-). While it might feel different to people who are from the area or live on the street, it's a hard place to land for visitors. »

« very conveniently located 0.7 miles from the Convention center - an easy walk on sidewalk and main roads. Some of the neighborhood further down the road was "sketchy" as my kids would say but we did not feel unsafe at any time. Backyard was nicely done with lots of outdoor seating, a fire pit and grill. Outside we could hear traffic and a few trains but not inside the house. »

« The Water Feature Cottage was perfect for our 5 night stay, just the right size for 2 people, but also comfortable for our son to visit. The cottage was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet at night. The "back porch" patio is perfect for enjoying coffee or drinks and the landscaping is beyond beautiful. We really enjoyed watching birds, listening to frogs and discussing plants with Larry. Thank you Larry, Sandra and (of course) Hobbs! »
