![The greatest waterfall the world has ever seen?  That's what geologists tell us happened 20,000 years ago when a large glacial lake in Montana broke through it's 2000 foot tall (641 m) ice dam and flooded eastern Washington and Idaho with 600 cubic miles of water (2,500 cubic km).  The flood water rushed over this 400ft tall (121 m) ridge at 65mph (104 kmh), generating a flow roughly 10 times larger than the flow of all the world's rivers combined!  This happened roughly 40 times over a 2000-year period.
