Pets welcome. Sleepy unit with fantastic views in close proximity to the entrance of the Colorado National Monument. The unit is 1/2 of a duplex and sleeps 6 with room for a couple more if needed. Both sides can be rented if a larger group capacity is needed. See listing 2515712 on VRBO. This unit is popular with visitors as it is next door to the Lunch Loops trails and one can access the trails directly from the property. In the sunroom, the views and peaceful landscape make for some great morning coffee. Visitors will be greeted by a covey of wild quail that roam the property. High end bicycle rentals available. The property is a duplex on a large rural setting that backs directly to the just completed bike/walking trail in the area (Tabeguache) There are two bedrooms- one main with a queen, a second with a good size bunk beds. There is also a queen size bed in an enclosed porch area. So plenty of space for a good number of people- but only one bathroom. The property is probably built in the 70s and and shows some use, but everything worked and updates continue to be made (noticed a newer dishwasher than online pics). There was toothpaste dried up in the bathroom sink upon arrival, the grill outside was rusty, and some chairs outside had food stains splattered on the cushions. I appreciate that they accept pets, that is our most important consideration. Cleaning was OK, not what I would call up to professional standards, my wife noted a spilled substance in the refrigerator that had not been cleaned. Great spot to stay if you want to ride the Lunch Loops trail group. A trail extension is in progress that will put a trail just on the other side of the back fence. Completion expected in 2025\. until then you will ride the road with non-existent shoulder about 1/2 mile to the Lunch Loops lot. The photo of the outside of the unit on the website description is of Unit #1, not #2, which is the one we rented, and is to the left of the photo. Unit #1 appears to be either a long term rental, or owner occupied. The double carport on Unit #1 is a nice feature if you need to work on your bike or motorcycle out of the weather. Also, there is a water hydrant here. The driveway entrance is difficult to find after dark, and requires care as there is a drop off on the left side of driveway entry which could easily swallow a car tire. ##### Kevin W.
