"We had a brilliant week at Villa Alix. The location was absolutely perfect for our first time exploring the Luberon valley. Goult is right in the centre and allows short car trips to all the prettiest villages around. Goult is only a 5 minute walk from the villa (a steep walk up, but fine for us, very quick down!) which was ideal for visiting the incredible bakery every day! "We stayed in this lovely home in Goult for 12 days. It’s a charming and quiet village, but has all you need—wonderful bakery, great small grocery, cafes and shops. It’s also a perfect place for day trips to several of the other charming hilltop villages in the area. The rooms are large, and having screens on the windows was a huge plus—fresh air without mosquitos! The home is on three levels, plus the rooftop terrace, and the spiral stairs are a little steep, but the hand rails really helped....

"Fantastic location, Herve the property manager was brilliant. The house is lovely but we found the pool area a bit dirty and had to clean it down ourselves, also you cant sit around the pool and it is in the shade for the majority of the day (some of us found it too cold for swimming). Overall very gopd but pool set up is not ideal for families."

After a great stay at a clean, beautifully landscaped property, we realized after arriving at our next destination that we had left our passports and money in the hotel room safe. If it weren’t for Anthony and Manon, the hotel’s director and manager, for saving our entire trip it would have been a complete nightmare! They drove all the way from Goult to Aix...
