"They complained about the kids running around making noise wouldnt give me a refund and then wouldn't let my friend and her daughter swim"

"The television did not sign in to the network, so it did not work. Plus the hotel internet did not work per the password provided. The continental breakfast was quite skimpy. No coffee cups were available (I had to go back to my room to get one). The pool was very clean, but there was black mold on the lounging chair I initially sat on. The beds were super comfy and the AC keep the room amazingly cool considering the huge gap around the door. Light shine right through. Also they took $50 out my checking account to be returned in 3-4 business days. So I took pics as there was 1 wash cloth missing and I just felt that I needed to cover my tracks."

"My friends, family, and kids all had a great time at the lakehouse! We caught fish, made smores by the campfire, played pingpong and some other games we brought, and enjoyed an overall great weekend. We all liked the very spacious bedrooms, which is particularly great if you have smaller kids. The kitchen had everything we needed, and once we checked in we didn't have to leave at all. There's also lots of room to stretch out so you don't feel like you're cramped, even with a lot of guests. Highly recommend!. "

"I am very disappointed! I paid more for this hotel because it claimed to have a functional hot tub. I doesn't! It is broken no notices, no signs just misleading people then when you get there the staff is just "no big deal they charged extra for the amenities that they don't have" On top of that the rate changed as I drove closer. It went up $50 in 30 miles, which I had only agreed to because we had driven for 10 hrs and thought they had a hot tub. Misleading and I believe intentionally. They were listed as the only person in town with one. Gym had no air conditioning. It was 78 degrees, humid and no towels to use. The equipment was falling apart.and panels coming off the wall. Room had not been mopped the floors in the bathroom and hallway were dirty and had broken tiles. Bathroom towel rack was not properly attached to the wall. Breakfast was a 6. Normally I give places the benefit of the doubt, but this was just sad, a blatant lack of concern for the facilities and their patrons."

"TLDR: Great desk clerks, old small rooms. Uncomfortable bed. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. We needed a place to stay while visiting family for a few days.There were 3 adults sharing one room. The front desk clerk on arrival was super welcoming and friendly. We got one of the rooms with a kitchenette, king bed, and pullout couch. Upon entering our room it didn’t smell super clean but it’s an older hotel so I chalked it up to that. However, we found the room had not been properly clean as there was dog hair all over the bathroom and when my son pulled the couch bed out it was stained with red dye (looked like koolaid) all over. I spoke to the desk clerk (Sommer) and she quickly made a note and switched us to a new room. The second room was MUCH cleaner. The pullout couch mattress looked brand new. The rooms are on the smaller side, so sharing a room with other adults was tricky. We struggled with where to store luggage so it was out of the way. The king bed was a little uncomfortable. It was too firm for me but I can deal with that temporarily, however if the person sharing the bed with you moved at all the whole bed would move. Needless to say we didn’t get great sleep. The breakfast was ok. Nice to have an option and not have to go elsewhere. The morning front desk clerk was just as friendly as the one who checked us in. Personally, I wouldn’t stay here in the future just because there are other options, but for the price it was a pretty good choice."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seguin

4/10 Poor

"Very disappointed for a La Quinta by Wyndham. The property needs a complete overhaul. The front looks like it hasn’t been maintained for a while. The room was clean enough to feel comfortable to sleep overnight but it’s time for a rehab budget. The floor in the elevator was gross and the safety handles were missing. Side door entry doesn't work. There were live beetles in the lobby. The front desk staff was super friendly though. This property should be under $100 for the condition that it is in."
