« Our stay was very nice. The location was very convenient for going to the local dinosaur attractions. The host was very nice and hospitable. The only problem with the stay was the rooms were located on the second floor and the bathroom is on the first floor, but this was more of a physical problem since getting older stairs are a little more difficult to traverse, and having to get up in the middle of the night to "go" was tricky. « This resort was a slice of Heaven in an area that feels quite remote. The check in is amazing because they just text you a code to get into your room so you don’t have to go to a main desk. The room felt massive and was extremely clean&gorgeous. There was a mini fridge that kept our food perfectly cold, and the bed was extremely comfortable. « Prepare to relax. No TV. No phones. No hair dryers. Dog and cat-friendly to the extreme, which was fine with us. The weather was beautiful, so we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the town pass by, or having our morning coffee on the banks of the Paluxy River, or dining at the Tavern at night. Everyone was friendly. The manager Pam was attentive to our needs and questions. It’s in the heart of old downtown Glen Rose, which was fun to explore. We’ll be back. »

« The Grandkids (6 & 8) had a great time exploring the farm and feeding the animals. They also enjoyed Big Rocks Park, the Wild Animal Park and the Dinosaur Valley State Park. The Carriage House was quaint and fun, but would have been better with dish towels and more kitchen dishes/utensils. Also, The bedroom is crowded for 4. There was also no water pressure when we arrived because a hose had been left on in the farm area. That was solved relatively quickly. »

« The Spartan had everything we could have needed for our short trip. The property is truly beautiful. The campers are nestled into trees and truly give you that “ camping” feel. There was the perfect amount of room for my family of 4. The property is something out of a fairytale. The kids loved the animals. The horses were my daughter’s favorite.
