"Santan Gili completely exceeded our expectations! My partner and I stayed at Santan for 6 nights on gili trawangan and absolutely loved it! On arrival, we were greeted with delicious welcome drinks and the friendliest staff. One man in particular, Rol, was incredible and took the time to show us to our villa and explain how everything worked. "Stayed a Pera One for 2 nights, perfect spot as its only 5 minutes by bike to the sunset side and just under 10 minutes to the party side! Staff were wonderful and spoke great english, very helpful and bicycles included! Staff also helped us to organsie snorkelling and suggested places to go out :) "

"Overall excellent experience. The villa is as advertised - pictured are accurate. Communication is through WhatsApp, including when they would come to clean your room, so I would say having this app is a must. We paid for the floating breakfast one morning and it was awesome. Very clean villa, and friendly staff. When outside, you can hear guests from other hotels/villas but I don’t think you’ll get away from this anywhere on the island as all accommodations are quite close together. "

The staff at Rimba villas went out of their way to make our visit special, even recommending local restaurants and things to do. I especially liked that they contacted me ahead of our visit to ask if I had any requests and had our bike rentals already arranged when we arrived. "
