"Easy to get to from Düsseldorf HBF takes five minutes if using the U75 or U77 underground train. Check-in was now self check-in rather than a person behind the desk, it was straight forward but time consuming. Our room (621) was fine, a couple of minor issues but maintenance fixed straight away. The bed was comfortable and we slept without issues. Amenities in the room were okay, but we didn’t like the smell of the soap and body wash (parsley and sage). Breakfast over five mornings was exactly the same (poultry sausage), this could have done with being different on a few days, other items for a European breakfast were plentiful. On this occasion we were always able to get a seat and everything worked well. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would stay again if in Düsseldorf. I would like to see IHG points awarded if booking through Expedia as in my case."
