"My friend and I booked this room as a place to stay to take a break in the middle of traveling. When we booked the room we did not read reviews first, after booking we checked the reviews and were horrified. We did not want to stay here after seeing the reviews but with what little time we had left we decided to check it out anyways. We were shocked with the cleanliness of the room, thinking it would be way worse given what we read. There was no bad smells like people where saying. The bedding was clean, the room was cozy, only complaint I have is with the bathroom. The bath tub looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a while, we were not planning on using it to begin with but if I had to I would not have used it. This is a very cheap motel, you get what you paid for. Given how cheap it was I really cannot complain, everyone leaving horrible reviews are likely people expecting a 5 star hotel. Again, you get what you pay for. We would stay here again if needed "

"The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.Leo (there dog) is an absolute sweetheart, I had the pleasure of being able to take him out for walks in my spare time during my stay. It definitely felt like a home away from home. The host made me a delightful cup of tea on a couple of occasions.The home is located in great proximity too many shops, with Starbucks in the grocery store being just a couple of minutes away. Great walking trail just around the corner.The house was clean, linens were spotless, and if I needed anything extra, the host was quick to comply and accommodate. They were so kind to check that I had made the trip home safely.I will definitely be returning to their home during my next day in Brampton.Thank you for a great stay!!!"

"Think the hosts were distracted by other matters during the stay. Parking was a bit cramped (3 across on a 2 car driveway) and at times we squeezed 4. I am picky, so take that in consideration as you read the rest of the review. Basement unit is very nice in spots, and less so in others . Bathroom has been completely renovated and is gorgeous shape. Unfortunately, the hot water wasn't very hot. I was cold showering when using full hot water. Bedroom is ok. Some of the furnishings are clearly scratched and weathered, but all functional. Bed was comfy. Living area is okay as well. Tv doesn't have a remote but after downloading a fire tv remote app for my phone, I got there. Kitchen area need a bit of an update. Rough in spots. Kettle hadn't been cleaned for some time. I left the unit early as the dogs upstairs barked for at least 45 minutes straight when I got back in the evening. I gave up at that point and got a hotel. "
