There is another property attached to the rental, however we had the whole property to ourselves when we went. "The person checking in guests was efficient and helpful. This is in contrast to many properties recently, including those now using remote check-in staff causing slower and longer checkins. By contrast, checking at Red Lion Inn & Suites Auburn was fast and friendly. The room was larger than most comparably-priced motels. Room was clean and well-maintained. But the biggest and much appreciated surprise -- even though their website stated they had only a "continental breakfast," this was a full complimentary breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, all kinds of cereal, extras like apple sauce, yogurt and of course coffee, tea etc. The breakfast alone was a good reason to stay here. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we will be back."

"Everyone in our group really enjoyed our stay here. The common area was beautifully lit and included yard games. The rooms were clean and very spacious and the staff was very accommodating to our request for a lower level room and even followed up with us to make sure we were happy with our rooms. "The property is AMAZING! Beautifully private and lush land with plenty of space to roam, play disc golf, horseshoes, walk the dogs, paddle board, basketball, and enjoy the wildlife. The house was wonderful. So much space and really well laid out. We had more beds than we needed for our 12 family members and wanted for nothing! There is a game room with pool, ping pong, and a toy chest with games.The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, oven, free standing ice maker, multiple coffee makers, dishwasher, double wide fridge with a lower freezer. All the cabinets are conveniently labeled and there was plenty of empty space for storing the food we brought. We ate at home for each meal and loved the outside grill and cooking surface, bonus!!! The beds were very comfortable and the added portable fans in each room made the warm temps more than tolerable. There are several bathrooms, outdoor hoses for rinsing off before coming in from the lake, and a washer/dryer. The living room has ample seating with a big screen TV, satellite, and a DVD player. We brought our old DVD libraries and watched some classics. The room has the perfect ambiance for movie watching! The ceiling beams are stunning. I have reviewed properties previously but never had the pleasure of rating a place we enjoyed more.Denise, thank you for everything, a great property and excellent customer service!"
