Aerial zip lines, rope climbing, freefalls, trapeze swings and treetop bridges make this attraction a great day for all the family.

Soar through treetops overlooking the picturesque Smoky Mountains, test your agility on an outdoor rope course challenge or brave a 40-foot (12-meter) freefall. Whether looking for an adrenalin rush or celebrating a birthday, wedding or anniversary, visit Gatlinburg Ziplines for high-energy fun for both kids and adults.

The zip-line tour features nine exciting lines of varying lengths and speeds. No experience is necessary and trained guides are on hand to assist you as you fly through the forest treetops. Tours last around 90 minutes, allowing you time to take in the scenery of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as well as enjoy the exhilarating ride. Although you cannot bring your own camera, you can pay an extra fee to receive a digital collection of personalized photos from your tour. The zip lines are suitable for visitors aged five and over.

The fun doesn’t end with the zip lines. Test your agility and decision-making skills on the rope challenge course suspended between the treetops. This self-guided course features over 20 different elements, such as trapeze swings, hanging ladders and log bridges. If you are feeling brave, try the 40-foot (12-meter) freefall, which will take you back to firm ground. A harness and safety line will keep you secure at all times, even if you fall from one of the challenges.

Gatlinburg Ziplines check-in center is on the town’s Historic Trail, next door to the Gatlinburg Space Needle. Paid parking is available nearby. From the check-in center you’ll be taken by shuttle bus to the zip-line course, located at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The zip lines and rope course are open daily. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are also welcome. Dress appropriately for the weather and remember to wear closed shoes. Night and private activities are also available. Visit Gatlinburg Ziplines’ official website for more details.
