The location is in the heart of everything yet you can sleep quietly at night. Walk to the beach or dinner or hit a play or concert at "The Opera House". You can even have a horse and carriage pick you up. Perfect for wedding or a girls night out. Walk to the beach in 5 blocks, walk to restaurants, the guys can hop a fishing boat and the girls shop all day. The home is an historical Storm of 1900 survivor and it’s beautiful. She has ample poll towels and floats, an outdoor TV and plenty of seating for everyone. The backyard area is what sold us on this spot and it was perfect. The atmosphere was nice and quiet place to relax with family. It is only a few blocks from the beach. So we spent the morning there and retreated back to the private pool in the afternoon. The pool/hot tub area is a nice place to relax.Ms. Ramona was quick to answer any questions we had. Family in town for son’s graduation. Home is very big and not crowded even with all the adults. We loved spending all our time in the pool and hot tub while watching NBA playoffs from the hot tub. Grilled and enjoyed a family celebration all together. Plenty of space for everyone, and we were walking distance to both The Strand and the beach. The outdoor space was a perfect place to hang out as well. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Most responsive host I’ve ever experienced. Never waited longer than 5 minutes for an answer or instruction. Short walk to the beach through a wonderful Old Galveston neighborhood.
