We came here as a getaway in the off-season month of October. The house was comfortable and cozy with lots of windows to let the sun and breeze in. There were tv’s in every room - just a relaxing paradise. We took walks to the seawall which was only two blocks away and ate at local restaurants. There were so many places to eat close to us! Oh and the pool! Such a quiet, intimate space in the middle of such a busy area. Any time I needed to ask a question from the owner, a response was delivered in a timely manner. It was close to the sea wall and the Pleasure Pier and so many great restaurants. The soaking pool/hot tub was perfect for relaxing with cocktails in the evening. The construction next door was much further along than indicated by the pictures in VRBO, so there wasn't any noticeable noise that we could hear. Kelly was a great host....very accommodating. We came to the area to go to NASA but did not want to stay in Houston. This property was perfect - the beach was truly a super short walk and the pool was made for perfect relaxing evenings. It was a great choice. The drive was easy and the best part was having our own pool! The heat was sweltering and the pool made the entire stay enjoyable. The owners were very responsive. The pool and backyard were amazing and it was such a close walking distance to the Seawall/beach. The house was stocked with everything we needed and it was nice to have the private guest house.
