Pay well over 400 dollars a night for a night stay. We come back from the pleasure pier and our air conditioner is leaking. All they want to offer is towels. Not even an offer on discounting the room for the inconvenience.

It is at a great location with a beautiful boardwalk and pier right down the road. Good spot to stay before a cruise out of Galveston.

This is a very nice modern hotel, we had a large room on the side of the hotel with a balcony and sea view. Breakfast was good with a large dinning area. There is a multistore car park at the rear of the hotel for a charge which I believe was around $20? The hotel is in a great sea front location with some nice bars either side of the hotel. I would recommend the Brick House Tavern. My only disappointment with the hotel is that weren't able to check in until 16.30 and this was the beginning of April when the hotel was not particularly busy, however I would still recommend and I would return.

The property was exactly what was needed. Quick stay for a wedding. Morning breakfast was good. Room was clean. The only issue was that the mini fridge leaked water all over the floor everyday. Front office staff was awesome. So helpful and nice. Shout out to Okeema (front desk) who helped me out with the front office computer bc my phone broke. She was so helpful and was an angel in my time of need.

The room has ample space to store luggage and personal belongings. There are plenty electrical sockets to accommodate personal electrical appliances. Shower room and bathroom are clean. However the showerhead is fixed and can not be removed as handheld, which is needed sometimes. The bed mattress was not firm. It was too soft and I woke up with backache. There were flies in the breakfast area. The luggage cart was small, not enough to carry luggages and personal belongings for two people. We could not find two carts. The parking lot arrangement is a building away, very inconvenient. The staff was friendly.

Hotel very nice and clean but they won’t hold all your luggage if you get there early, only 1 piece per person. So most had to walk around with their bags for 3 hours and some of the backpacks were heavy. They could have easily put them on top of the luggage they were holding but said that’s their policy because the room is small. You can leave in an unsecured room otherwise at your own risk.

Inside was getting a deep cleaning and a coat of paint while we were there (work crew was very nice and respectful). Staff was friendly. View from 5th floor was awesome. Air conditioner in room was very loud.

The lobby, pool area, and room was great! However, the last minute charges and price change was extremely frustrating. Then the GM was not very helpful, all she kept saying is that its not our problem call expedia and that their prices don't necessarily reflect what you see on expedia. Instead of just doing the right thing and honoring the price she denied accountability and told us to go somewhere else, call expedia corporate (not Holiday Inn corporate), or just deal with it. The GM in my opinion needs retraining on how to deal with customers. Most managers would go above and beyond to make sure whatever wrong was done is fixed and the customer leaves happy. I guess here the GM get paid to just tell customers call expedia if they have issues at her hotel smh.

The past 3 stays in Galveston have been at 3 different hotels. I won’t be switching again as I have found the one I will stay at again & again. This Holiday Inn Express! Very clean. The bed was comfy. Love the Dove brand products in the bathroom. Friendly Staff.
