Top Floor, Kitchen, Modern Decor! We love SNOWBIRDS! If you are looking for a break from the cold, come stay in Galveston! Both of our pools have received a complete makeover and are open all year! Both of our pools are heated. Our Hottubs are both open. Welcome to "Good Day Sunshine" at the best beach in Galveston! We have just completed a total renovation of our cozy condo and have included all the things we have loved finding when traveling over the years with our three kids, with friends, or as a couple. I hope you will enjoy our full kitchen, furnished patio with a gorgeous view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico, and our bright, cheerful, and modern decor. We are in the heart of the island and near the best local food and attractions. We provide quality beach chairs, umbrella, cooler bag, beach towels, lots of beach and pool toys, and a wagon to carry it all. Stay here in the heart of Galveston, close to everything! Walk to convention center, grocery, and Walmart for last minute supplies. We also offer extended stay, secure parking if you stay with us before your cruise! We have a queen bedroom with a wall-mount tv. Here you will find drawers for storing your items and a closet rod for hanging clothes. There's a lighted make up mirror, hairdryer, and some space for your own items. On the upper shelves you will find the complete linen sets for either the pull out queen sofa or twin ottoman as well as extra pillows and pillowcases. You will also find a laundry bag with supplies, and an ironing board and iron, although I hope you don't need to use these on your visit :) In the bunk alcove, each bunk has its own reading light and outlet with USB chargers. For daytime nappers or early bedtimes, there are blackout curtains that will help to make this a cozy space. There is a remote control with an auto shutoff timer that controls the fairy lights. In the living room, you will find a comfy sofa (sleeps two, or possibly three littles along the long side) and leather ottoman (sleeps one) that both fold out to beds. I wouldn't suggest trying to use both at the same time because it would be very tight. There are a couple of stools tucked under the tv if you need additional seating. You will find games, DVDs, and a few of my favorite Galveston books in the cabinet. We have provided two Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a large beach umbrella, as well as a large beach sheet and beach towels. There is also a large wagon and cooler bag for your use. In the adjoining kitchen, you will find a dining table with seating for four and a full sized fridge/ freezer with a filtered ice maker and a Brita pitcher for filtered water, dishwasher, stovetop, and countertop over/air fryer. We have stocked it with lots of what you may need for cooking, including pots and pans, some basic cooking spices, and everything that you will need for making great coffee. You can pack light because we provide quality body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. I will also have a first-aid kit and will try to keep stocked up on some extras in case you forget something but Walmart is across the street just in case there's anything else you need. The bathroom is also stocked with fluffy white bath towels and washcloths. Our condo is part of a larger property. There is a $35 facility charge payable at the front office which covers secure parking for up to two vehicles, free wifi, and arm bands for access to the onsite pools and spas. If you’re staying with us before a cruise, you can leave up to two vehicles parked in our gated parking lot while you’re away. This host really thought of everything. We have a great view of ocean and pool. The wagon to pull everything to beach was perfect. No loud neighbors . Easy access to the beach. Had a wagon with every beach amenity I can think of! Beautiful view of the water and pool! Left treats out for us. The pool and beautiful property grounds were the best part! Everything was very well taken care of and I was surprised at home quiet the property grounds were. We went to the pool almost every day and most of the time we were the only three people there. All of the staff we interacted with personally or virtually were always extremely helpful and friendly. I am a plant lover so appreciated all of the beautiful well maintained foliage on the property. The location of the property is absolutely perfect - within walking distance of multiple shops and restaurants. Only one small negative which is the condo had only the bare kitchen essentials - three plates and minimal utensils. I’m always a fan of air fryers in condo rentals as many people often have leftovers from their outings and it’s a super easy and effective way to warm up food. ##### Hilary A. Stayed here with my wife and 2 adult children. Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The unit is perfect. The host was amazingly communicative and helpful; always responsive. Check in went smooth. Checkout even smoother. Location is perfect. Super easy to get to seawall and beach. Onsite pool and hot tub were great. Close to Walmart (for those last minute items). Excellent location to hit seawall for sunrise walk to piers or sunset walk to Orange Leaf. Unit is on top floor but didn’t notice any neighbor noise and traffic noise wasn't noticeable either. Our kids love water, and with the beach just steps away we got all the beach fun we were looking for. When our kids got tired of the beach we hit up the pools at the complex. Everything for beach/pool day was included. Beach chairs, sand toys, and umbrella provided. All you need is your bathing suits! Phyllis was very helpful in guiding us with other things to do on the island as well. Great location with views of the beach and restaurants and shops just a short distance away. I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming rental property at The Victorian and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The property was spotless, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect, offering easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and shops, and ir was directly across the street from the beach. The amenities were top-notch, including a great kitchen, comfortable beds, and a cozy living area where we could unwind after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the outdoor space. The landscape was beautifully manicured and the outside patio had a great view and was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and evening drinks. The host was incredibly attentive and responsive, ensuring that all my needs were met. Overall, my stay at this rental property exceeded all my expectations. I cannot say enough about Phyllis! She goes above and beyond to make your stay comete! Where there is some wear and tear on the Victorian, she makes up for in the condo! Clean sheets, towels, dishes, glassware, water filtter, bottle of wine and chocolate , soap, shampoo, conditioner, blender, coffee and kurig with pods, beach towels and wagon, best matresses ( accept for the couch) extra pillows, spices, pans, umbrella, beach chairs, a bumbo feeding chair for an infant, two tvs with smart capabilies, makeup mirror in the master bedroom, luggage stands, cooler bag......i mean goodness! You could litterally show up with a backpack and have a great vacation! The beach is visible from the patio and aside from the normal beach house smell at first, she has an air filter that runs!
