Beautiful Gulf view condos – Great location, year-round pools, great amenities for the entire family! In the Dawn condominiums voted best condominium rental complex in Galveston 2023 & 2024 in the Galveston Best of the Island awards. The Houston Chronicle calls the Best of the Island Awards the "Oscars of the Gulf Coast". Come stay at the best! Driftwood Dreams I, in the Dawn Condominium Complex, is a beautifully furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo with great views of the Gulf from its second floor balcony. The master suite features a king size bed with luxury linens, soft comfortable pillows. The bath is all ceramic with walk in shower and custom glass door. Large soft towels are provided for your comfort. 40" HD TV in the Master Bedroom. Room configurations • 1st Bedroom: King bed with en suite shower, toilet, sink • Living room: Queen sofa sleeper, twin roll away, The sunny living room features queen sleeper sofa, comfortable arm chairs and is well appointed to give you that "beach" charm. A 48" TV, basic cable and Blu-ray DVD player are available for your use. Adjacent to the living room is an exterior deck with unobstructed Gulf views and outdoor seating for 6\. Benches convert to a picnic table. A great place for watching the waves roll in or a beautiful sunset. The dining room has large table with available seating for 4, with additional 2 chairs stored in laundry area. The kitchen is fully stocked; smooth top electric stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, garbage disposal, dishwasher, refrigerator with large freezer and pots and pans, silverware, glassware and dish place-settings. Tupperware, bowls, measuring cups, strainers and other cooking utensils provided. DON'T BE FOOLED! Other condos on the Seawall only offer a fridge and a microwave, maybe a hot plate. This unit has a FULL kitchen. Oven, Stove and ALL the cookware to cook your own meals. The condo is best suited for 2 people (in the master bedroom). However, when using the living room queen size sleeper sofa, it comfortably sleeps 4\. There is also a twin rollaway to sleep up to 5 people. Full sized washing machine and dryer are located inside the unit. Our beach hall closet includes various beach accessories and sand toys to make your short trip the beach effortless. We've included a cooler, and beach towels for your convenience as well. The Dawn is secure facility with all doors and gates opened with codes. A wrought iron fence surrounds the property to ensure your privacy and security. Ample (fee-based) parking is available on the property as first come first serve. TRAILERS are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances. Beautifully landscaped grounds with 2 available pools year-round (1 is heated), a hot tub, community center, charcoal grills and exercise lounge. And to top it all off, Babe's Beach is right across the street, with access from the stop light at the corner of the property. This condo is on the second floor. Guests must be able to navigate one flight of stairs. All guests must check in with the Condo HOA upon arrival and purchase a mandatory vehicle/amenity pass at $40-$50 per vehicle per stay (depending on length of stay) and include pool wrist bands for up to 5 guests. We also have Driftwood Dreams II, a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo immediately next door through a connecting door and you can rent both condos together as Driftwood Dreams III. NOTE: Upon booking this property, you will be required to sign a House Agreement, provide a copy of your driver license, provide a guest list of everyone's names and ages within 24 hours of booking. You will also be required to place a damage and cleaning deposit hold three days prior to arrival. ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED per the HOA rules. Check in any time after 4PM, check out no later than 11AM. POLICIES • Must be at least 25 years old to book and be staying at the property (no booking for others) • No events, parties or large gatherings including prom, bachelor/bachelorette, graduation and TEEN groups – if this is your intent, please look elsewhere • No smoking inside or on decks/balconies. Driftwood Dreams was the perfect condo for my husband and me. The complex is very nice & maintained well, & right across from the beach. The actual condo was super nice and very clean w/all the amenities one would need. They even supplied beach towel, chairs & toys for use. Super easy access w/clear instructions & the hosts had excellent communication. Will definitely stay here again, or at any of their other rentals! Definitely 5 stars plus!! ##### Cindy S. Far enough from pier to be quiet at night. Close enough to everything to get there quick and have fun. Watch the sunset from the balcony. We received all the information we needed, which made the check in and check out so easy and also easy to get into condo. Owners checked in with us after checking in to check on everything for us! Check-in was perfectly prepared. We received our access codes in advance, well-described and on time. The apartment matched exactly the pictures and description. We had fresh towels, the beds were made, and the apartment was very clean. Dish soap and dishwasher tabs were provided. We enjoyed the pools and the gym. The location of the apartment is right by the beach and invites for spontaneous walks. We were highly satisfied, and all in all, the apartment is worth a 5-star rating. ##### Volker H. Property owners provided good communications, with plenty of detail. We needed to get a parking pass from Dawn Condominiums management office. We were lucky enough to catch the office person on their way out. No complaints or complications. We ate takeout free Mel's Blue Plate dinner (it's counter in the gas station a couple blocks away.
