With 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, 2 covered decks, a game room, a barbeque patio, a short drive to the beach, and private access to the best fishing pier in the area, your family will love to spend a little time at Deja Blue. ● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Pristine white cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and recessed lighting combine to create a clean and efficient space to flip a stack of pancakes in the mornings or pack up some sandwiches and snacks for a day at the beach. Through an arched opening lies the private and tranquil master suite. A king-size bed, flatscreen television, and plush carpeting create a quiet oasis to unwind at the end of the day. You’ll have full views of the bay waters below from the windows, and access to the covered deck. The ensuite master bathroom features a double vanity, spa-like soaking tub, and separate step-in shower. There’s also a half bathroom off the main living space on the first floor. On the upper level, another living area provides plenty of flexible hangout space for large groups to relax. A foosball table and a ping pong table provide endless family fun— with a futon to accommodate any spectators. Another covered deck lies just off this living area and provides truly epic, third-story, sweeping views of the bay. Three more bedrooms on the upper level can handle any combination of sleeping arrangements for your crew. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has two queen-size beds, and the third bedroom has a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed with a twin trundle. A laundry nook and a full bathroom can be accessed from the hallway. Deja Blue is a truly stunning vacation home. But what elevates this home to unforgettable status is the magnificent location. Perched directly on the shores of the bay, you’ll be awestruck at the simple beauty and peacefulness that surrounds this home. Take a walk along the rambling boardwalk and enjoy the sites and sounds of coastal birdsong and gentle offshore breezes. Grab your fishing gear and catch some fresh fish to grill on the barbeque that evening. Relax with a good book and a cool drink on one of the soaring decks that overlook this magical oasis. Jan 18, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Wonderful Fishing, Views & Assortment of Pot Lids Great place with amazing views to stay and fish, though it could use some interior maintenance and upgrades (paint, carpet, etc). I get this place is a rental, but there are easy fixes to make stays much nicer. Bathrooms did not have toilet paper holders lol, which turned out to be an inconvenience, an easy fix. Kitchen is stocked with enough to get by, but random assortment of utensils and dishes (but enough lids for a family reunion). Teens and tweens loved the upstairs game room. Dads and uncles enjoyed finishing and crabbing, the mommas and aunties enjoyed wine and sunsets. The only thing I would have to say is that the cooking supplies was challenging as we had to cook for an army. I’d suggest bringing your own large pan. And extra blankets. The bay would give us a different experience. The views of the bay and sunset were beautiful. The area is like a wet land so the bugs and mosquito's where terrible to the point that you could not go outside at night or early in the morning. Although this is not an property issue, it should be stated in the listing. The house is nice but has not been well maintained. The carpets are very old and stained (pet friendly). The walls, casings and light switch covered were covered in dirt and hand prints. The shower tiles had pink mold growth all around. The kitchen had limited utensils and the bottom of the BBQ pit was completely rusted out. Overall, the value was good and we made the best of what we had. ##### Erin B. We were absolutely not disappointed. One of my main concerns when booking was whether or not the air conditioning would work properly considering the heat outside. We opened the door and I was so grateful to feel the cool air! The temperature in the house was consistent and did not get warm during the day. I am not a person that sleeps just anywhere. I genuinely felt that the bed was clean even though I used my own blankets. My husband and family enjoyed the pier! Super convenient considering we had my nephews and niece with us. They were able to go in and out of the house while the family was fishing. The only thing I would suggest that we didn't do was bring lights. When night fishing its very dark because there is no lighting. My husband caught six fish during the night fishing and my brother caught two fish in the morning. The beaches are close by. Restaurants within 20 minutes Drive. I would absolutely stay here again! The owner was very quick at getting back with me anytime I messaged. I would absolutely recommend this home! ##### Yvette S.
