Located directly on a private beach, Ariel is a custom-built, family-owned home in Terramar Beach in the lovely West End of Galveston. This house will give you and your family all that you need to get away from it all or to at least have a beautiful resting place after a day out on the sea wall and historic downtown Galveston. kitchen remodeled December 2024 with new cabinets and appliances. Directly decorated by the owners, your family and guests will enjoy tranquil themes and ocean views from both inside and outside the house. Covered deck on the 1st., with an unblocked view of the Beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
Sleeping up to 15, this house was made for family vacations and entertaining. It has two master bedrooms with king size beds in each of them, making it perfect for group vacations; 2 full bathrooms, a half bathroom completely detached for convenient use by guests in the living room kitchen area, and two private decks boasting of beach views. This is all on top of having views of the ocean from top to bottom of the house.
Since you'll be able to step directly onto the beach and set up your things, the house also has an outdoor shower to easily wash away the sand as you enter in and out of the house. The kitchen and main shared area has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a total maritime atmosphere that will welcome you at the kitchen while watching the beach.
In the living room make wonderful memories both day and night. After a wonderful day in the sun, take a seat at the couch and enjoy your favorite movie with a 55" Flat Screen TV or enjoy a board game at our large, wooden kitchen table perfect for conversing and dining around.
Parking available for up to seven vehicles on a private driveway but of course you can park more in front on the private feeder road into the house.
If you ever want to leave the private beach for some sight seeing and tourist activities, you're around 20 minutes driving distance from Galveston's famous Pleasure Pier, Seawall, and Historic Strand. Our family personally loves The Spot for food and the Strand for beautiful sight seeing of antique shops, ice cream vendors, and candy shops! Post Office street also boasts a number of coffee shops and art galleries with works of art on sale. There is also a beautiful, boutique tea and coffee shop called Sugar Bean located only 20 minutes away driving.

Perfect getaway!

With six adults, two teens, and two small kids, we had more than enough room to relax and enjoy ourselves.The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with no street to cross, just steps from the sand. The covered porch and direct beach access were absolute must-haves for us, and this property delivered on both. We had a family gathering here and had a wonderful time. House is setup for ease of use for multiple families and adults and kids. 2 den areas and great view from the 2 decks. It was literally less than 100 ft to the beach. Pablo was always available at a moments notice for any question. Best recommendation is that "we will be back"!

Large and cozy house, perfectly located. Great dinner table to have everybody eat together in front of stunning view.
The only thing that could be improved is the kitchen équipement. For such a large number of people this house can welcome, you have limited options. Also not entirely clean kitchenware and bbq.

We had a good time and the property was nice. It was a 5 star experience, but we gave it a 4 overall because the rental agreement was written totally for the property owner with no recourse or remedy such as refunds or finding other lodging for the renter for any problems that would make the facility unacceptable to stay in, such as extended air conditioning outage (a major downer for a Gulf Coast summer climate), extended refrigerator outage, or other situations.

This is a beach front beach house!
Proerty is as advertised, PERFECT! Very clean, functional and has everything you need and more! Location is on the beach, we walked straight onto it and set up our stuff and left it there all day. We came back and forth to house to eat and rest. Took our stuff down at night and repeated the next several days. Too easy! Been coming to Galveston for 15 years. Best vacation rental, hands down!

Peaceful Oceanfront Home!
Felt like we had our own private beach for most of the week! Beautiful views from the decks. Family and friends had a great time. House was clean, check in was easy, and Pablo’s communication was excellent the whole way through. If I had one critique about the house itself, it would be that the kitchen was missing some key items…measuring cups, baking sheets, storage containers and that sort of thing. If you do a lot of cooking like our family does, you may want to bring some of your favorite cooking utensils and cookware. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Extended Weekend Getaway/Babymoon with Friends and Dog!
First this property is on an AMAZING SPOT! Perfectly between two public access points so not a bunch of people come that far down to set up. Neighboring houses kind of stayed in front of their houses and there was plenty of space in between on the beach! And you walk right out on to the beach. It was amazing!
Pablo communicated with us early, and everything was very clear. We didn't have any needs at all during the trip because everything was very clear!
The house was great with room for our 8 adults on beds without anyone having to top bunk or futon it. We are not small adults either and I am 8 months pregnant!
We did bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags, but the rental agreement was very clear that they only provide a few of those in their place and if you need more it is on you. Knowing that in advanced it was really easy to just throw a few in with other supplies. No big deal at all! I think we only needed some trash bags and one more roll of paper towels, what they provided was almost enough by itself.
We had an excellent stay and will be keeping this property on our list for future Galveston trips!

Birthday / Anniversary at the Ariel
The Ariel beach house is among the best properties we have rented in decades. My wife and I were celebrating our birthdays and our 38-year anniversary with family (kids and grandkids). The kitchen and dining area are large and provide a natural space for the family to gather. The private beach (100' from the house) made it seem as if we were the only ones vacationing. The multi-level decks/porches provide unique views of the Gulf --- although the deck on the second floor was by far our favorite as it is covered and provides easy access to the kitchen / living room area. Pablo was EXTREMELY helpful throughout the entire booking and check-in process. He responded to multiple questions in a timely manner and made me feel like I was the most important customer to ever book the property. We look forward to booking another vacation stay at the Ariel next year.
