« This place was wonderful. Right in the middle of the area we wanted, great place to explore from. 'Two bathrooms' seems difficult to find; this place had the two we were looking for, one per bedroom with a bonus small half-bath downstairs. The host helped me out as I don't have a smart phone and contacted us via alternate means, and early - which helped a lot. BONUS: An hour later C/O! Highly recommend this location. »

« The rental was nice and clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. I slept on the couch and my wife slept on pillows on the bed. Neither us got much sleep. We stayed one night instead of the two were charged for. The owner refunded 60 despite what they claimed was a subjective experience of the "bed firmness." You could feel the bed springs after 30 minutes. Totally disappointed since we were there to close a real estate transaction. »

« The host was incredibly responsive to a question, driving over for an explanation and prepared for a repair, which wasn’t needed. The property was comfortable, centrally located for our weekend, access off highways was simple, check-out was easy and straight forward. We will return if needed for future visits with family living in west Knoxville. »

« Very nice spot, a bit noisy on bar nights and with the train tracks next door. Was not an issue for us. The second bed in the common area is a pull down Murphy bed, which was very comfortable and much better than a typical sofa bed. I slept well! »

« Everything was expected. Clear communication with host. We made a mistake with the parking pass, but host was understanding. Room was small (but as expected per listing), but clean and perfect for our needs, with a great location. »

« David's an excellent host and his place is great. I'm reluctant to tell too many people because I feel like it's a hidden gem. I brought my 10-year-old kid to Knoxville for the first time and we used David's place as basecamp for East TN adventures. Would also be good for a couple with or without a kid or two (maybe more than 2 kids if you're good with coziness)David's place is perfectly located for all the best of the Old City / Market Square / Downtown / Tenn or Bijou Theatres.
