Only slight minus was the restaurant: food and drink were fine, but service was definitely rushed, apparently in a bid to fit in a second service before closing: appetizer arrived before we had even started on cocktail, and entree before we had finished appetizer."

"I have stayed at Oceangate twice now. The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with a microwave and frig, making it easy to take a meal in the room. The mattress was excellent and I got a good night's sleep every night. I loved having a view of the water from my balcony, and watching the light change as the sun went down. There was a variety of hot and cold choices each morning at breakfast. My only complaint is that the coffee could be better, other than that, it was a great stay."
