"Clean and large"

"Extremely satisfied with our stay at the Savoy. The staff are very responsive to customer needs. We let them know when booking the room that one of us has mobility issues and they gave us a room with special accommodations for that. The room was very spacious. The light coloured furniture, walls, carpeting and the large window keep the room looking bright. The hotel is very close to the Neuengasse entrance/exit from the SBB train station. This made it very convenient for us to explore other Swiss cities and get to Zurich airport by rail. Bern’s key tourist attractions are all within walking distance if the hotel. There is an abundance of shopping and dining establishments in the area. We would definitely stay at the Savoy again. "

"I arrived after midnight but it wasnt a problem as the hotel receptionist was very helpful and friendly which is important after a long day travelling. "

"The Kreuz Bern is a short, five minute walk from the SBB Station and two minutes from Bern's main street tram network. Our room was very clean, a good size, well-lit, andthe bedding was very comfortable. There is a connected restaurant which is open late and there is an authentic Italian restaurant right across the street (make reservations). Starbucks is less than one minute away. The Kreuz is a three minute walk from the main Old Town street in Bern and the Zythlogge. And lastly, for those travelers who need some clean clothing, there is a laundry room onsite for a VERY low fee!. We will stay here again without hesitation."

"Even though I don’t think it was intentional our check-in was a bit off putting. The air conditioning or fan didn’t work, quite stuffy so we had to leave windows open all night. Only one low pillow, found this uncomfortable even though bed comfortable. Carpets quite stained. Breakfast was 27CHF ($46 AUD each) felt this was very expensive. Pleased there was plenty of free parking. Easy walk into town centre."
