"We had severe storms that rolled through our area and we had no electricity so we booked a night at the hotel we stayed at before and had the best service for being a last minute reservation. "

"The hotel was very clean. Room seemed updated and modern. Bed comfortable. breakfast was not impressive. Eggs were cold and not refreshed, simply a pan of egg crumbs. Pancake machine not functioning well. However the cinnamon rolls are good! Upon check out no one as the front desk. No bell to ring, no signage etc. waited nearly 10 minutes even after asking housekeeping to get someone. Tried to call front desk with no avail. Finally a man showed up and when asked why no attendants he snapped at me and said “I was in the washroom”. He coldly handed me my receipt. WOW. A simple apology and perhaps a sign of some sort saying he had to step away but would return soon would have helped. Simply an unsafe situation at best for the hotel overall. I left with a nasty taste after thinking what a nice place it was and would become my choice as I visit this area frequently. Certainly rethinking that ! IHG needs to work on their personnel as there are plenty of other choices out there. "

"We are in one area but have to travel between work (truck driver) school , and various church missions. Thisocation makes it possible to stay in one location without having to lug out belongings everywhere. It is quiet, friendly, peaceful, and nobody bothers you. The stay is like having your own apartment in a peaceful and pleasant environment. I like that I have one set place without worry. The staff is wonderful and will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs and make things possible. The staff is great because their manager is a remarkable young man and treats all his workers and guests as family. It is a family oriented environment and the security makes you feel safe and tight at home. "
