Find a Bed and Breakfast in Freeport

"This is, indeed, a motel for sportsmen. Our room had a backwoods theme, but was also prepped for folks coming in from a day in the backwoods. I think it’s being upgraded room by room (lots of building supplies blocking a couple of rooms), and kudos to whoever is taking in what seems to be a labor of love. The motel is not actually in Dorchester- don’t let Google misdirect you- and is quite isolated, so bring your own breakfast. But it’s also in the heart of the Driftless, which is a wonderful place to visit. "

"The barn lodge was a very nice place to stay. Hosts were very kind and even asked us before mowing the lawn behind the barn. We had plenty of room, and much peace & quiet. Made it easy to relax during our stay. The only problem with our stay was the town working on water mains and fire hydrants so the roads in town were all tore up. Made it hard to walk around and explore the town. Nothing the hosts can do about that. We made it work. "

"It was the perfect place for a small family reunion! Loved the setting! Enjoyed coffee in the front porch. Loved the deer walking through the yard numerous times! Great natural light and location!"

"We enjoyed our stay at your trailer. No real issues. It rained the last day we were there and noticed water along the wall on the floor by the bed on the front side of the trailer. Not an issue for us but you might want to see where the leak is. Very nice location and lovely property. Plan on a return trip next year."
