« Cabin was cozy, especially with a fire going.We had a great view of the stars and a meteor shower at night. Local recommendations for sights, food, gas, firewood, etc were spot on. Some of the cutlery/ utensils weren't completely clean (maybe from the previous guest) but we clean before using regardless. »

« This was the perfect place for us and several family members including two small girls for a very special Christmas. Lovely layout, large and well equipped kitchen and comfortably heated in the winter. And plenty of room for the girls to play. The host made sure the snow was shoveled quickly. « We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...

« The Koreana Apt. 4 is clean, cozy and fits 5 adults comfortably. The bathroom had some nice upgrades too. When you walk down the stairs you are right on the main street of Decorah with lots of shops and restaurants to explore. We reached out to the host with questions when we arrived and they were quick to respond and very helpful. »
