« The staff is very friendly and helpful and attentive always. Parking is easy and free. The entire place is clean, quiet, and well-supplied. Breakfast was very good, with ample choices available. The lamp switches in our room didn't work very well, but we were able to have light as needed. The beds are comfortable, comforters cozy. Pillows are clean and fresh, but over-stuffed and hard. « We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...

« House is stocked with everything we needed for a several weeks stay - great home base for exploring the area. We especially enjoyed the front porch - sitting out and watching the sun rise, and the deer wandering the neighborhood in the evenings. A short stroll to downtown Decorah. Laundry on site was super helpful, and we had room for a couple guests to spend a few nights with us. Ten out of ten! »
