Wonderful privacy, really wonderful lake for swimming or fishing; beach along the shore for swimming (depending on high-water level); 30-foot dock for boating (public boat ramp on the south end of the lake, a mile down the trail). Fire-pit by the shore (wood provided). Hiker-friendly woods. Cute squirrels and chipmunks; deer in the yard are not unusual. House has a great kitchen, open floor plan, much new carpet, new vinyl floors in kitchen, bath, utility, central heat and air conditioning; unlimited high speed wifi internet, Roku for two TVs, or watch DVDs (provided, some), or bring your own game console. Two full baths, 3 bedrooms, big screened porch for additional space, gas barbecue grill (gas provided). Handicap accessible. 14 foot aluminum boat with 6 hp motor (fuel provided); 12' canoe, hard SUP board, inflated two-person kayak. From our cleaning and sanitation crew: " We at IBKLEAN want to help our guests feel even more comfortable this summer. Time at the lake is for relaxing, not worrying. We have been cleaning here for many years. This year we are doing things differently. The most important things are: 1) All staff will complete the Health Department required CDC paperwork before every clean. No one will work if they are not well. 2) Our staff will wear clean/new gloves, masks, and foot covers for every cleaning job. We will use new/ clean ( in hottest water possible) cleaning tools for every cleaning job. 3) We will use the recommended 2 step cleaning, then disinfecting process, allowing enough time for the disinfectant to work. 4) All laundry will be washed in the hottest water possible. Baskets will be disinfected regularly. 5) We will maintain a check list of this process We hope our commitment to everyone’s health and safety helps you feel at home. It was truly a home away from home. Everything we needed was there. Our host was helpful and quickly answered all our questions. We are in our 70s and 80s, so being all on one floor was important to us. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean. The living room was charming. The kitchen was a marvel, it had everything we needed and more. Our favorite place was the screened in porch that extended the length of the cottage. We spent many of our afternoons there, enjoying the breezes and the lake view, playing cards, and talking (for younger families, there are also plenty of things to do outside and on and in the water). We were a little old for the canoes and kayaks, so we rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed spins around the lake. The beds were decent, lots of closet space in the master. The livingroom smells like pet urine, its a constant smell and its pretty gross, its in the carpet and in the furniture, definitely makes your nose burn a bit.The porch was our favorite spot to hangout, super relaxing.The water is crystal clear. The boat didnt have a motor in it, so my husband and son fished on the canoe, it was a bit difficult since they didn't have an anchor, but they lived to tell about it.Frederic is pretty boring, but Gaylord is about 20 minutes away and they have a variety of restaurants and grocery stores.All in all - a decent spot - only issue really was the smell. ##### Heidi S. The house was spacious for us. We enjoyed the screned in front porch. The lake is very clear! The kids enjoyed fishing off of the dock. We brought our own kayaks and enjoyed going around the lake on them. The kids really enjoyed the woodsy feel of the cottage.
