"The room was nice and clean. there were flies comming in upstairs but that is truely typical of a house of this age. The owner had asked us to pay a couple of taxes that were not listed in the price (not sure it is ethical/legal/moral) - they close by 9 or you have to pay a $50 late fee A fee - no food was availible unless you arange ahead of time. over all for a B&B style experience I was ok wth it."

"We had a wonderful winter stay! The hosts clearly made a tremensous effort to clear feet of snow and ice that had fallen from the driveway and hot tub area which we greatly appreciated! The property was just spectacular, our kids loved the cats and horse, there was a great sledding hill on the property and the hot tub was fantastic to warm up after plenty of fun in the snow. They even supplied us with wood for the wood stove which made for wonderfully cozy evenings. Absolutely magical!"

"I absolutely loved this comfortable and hospitable place. The communication was amazing and the extra little touches to make us feel welcome and at home plus the overall atmosphere was just perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer and explored the town which looked charming but I want to give a nod to the terrific little corner cafe we walked to for dinner where the service was friendly and the food delicious. You will not have cellphone service, but the wifi connection is strong.The hot tub was very clean with a great view. We enjoyed watching the sun set over the mountains and star gazing.The wood burning stove will heat the whole main area of the house, and adds wonderful ambiance. The host was gracious and attentive. We had the opportunity to purchase some artisan maple syrup from the Sugar Shack on the property and would highly recommend it."
