Fort Necessity National Battlefield Tours and Activities

I know there have been a lot of negative reviews about this place but we were willing to gamble because it was almost half the price of most other hotels we were looking at. We wanted something within walking distance to the David L. Lawrence conference center. This place was a wonderful experience for us from beginning to end. I must of messaged them at least a dozen of times with messages on Hotels.com (but you could also text them) to ask questions and they responded very quickly answering everything! The check in process was easy as it was just a text message and link. When we arrived, we had a working code to get through the doors, but there was also other doors at the main entrance for guests if the code did not work. There were 2 people at the front desk that were very helpful and answered a lot of questions. We also did not have bedding for the pull out couch and they quickly grabbed us a bag with fresh linens for it. During our stay, we Door Dashed a dinner and the driver did not show up at the lobby but downstairs in the residents parking lot. The kind person at the front desk helped us out by running downstairs and getting it for us because I have trouble with stairs because of my back. The apartment complex is half residents and half hotel stays. The residents were very pleasant and friendly and helped to open doors (because I was using a walker). Check out was a breeze and valet parking was always quick.

Affordable

I didn't have any major problems with my room I couldn't solve by going to speak to the front desk. But items such as: Not having a refrigerator, telephone not working were bit of an annoyance since those are some amenities that "should" be prepared upon check in. Whether or not "remodeling" was part of the problem ( as what I was told ), I just felt my room was a little unprepared, but nothing I couldn't work with. Overall, I'd give my experience about a 7/10.
