Notre chambre pour 4 était bien assez grande et très bien présenté ( serviette de toilette sur le lit, divers coussins pour la déco, les enfants avait une parure de lit en accord avec leurs goûts sans le savoir et une peluche les attendait en décoration) ainsi que la salle de bain mise a disposition. "Chez Charitha is a lovely B & B in the centre of the pretty little town of Azay-le-Rideau, a couple of minutes’ walk from the chateau (well worth a visit). Charitha himself is the perfect host: welcoming, helpful and very generous. He greeted us with drinks and snacks (every welcome after a long drive), and gave us lots of helpful tips on restaurants, parking and places to visit. If you are looking for 5stars probably not for you, but if you are seeking hospitality and the real flavor or France then I highly recommend you to stay here! The house sits below a cliff and the pool sits on top of cliff for wonderful views. The pool and sauna staircase was tunneled into the cliff 1000 years ago. "Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."
