Near enough to explore by foot, but far enough to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax with home comforts! Situated on the second floor of an old noble building dating back to 1600, reached by stairs or lift, the apartment has been sympathetically restored with care, attention and respect for its historical importance, but without forgetting today's modern comforts. The large airy living room has a beautifully frescoed ceiling and the kitchen and the bedroom retains the original coffered ceiling. Located within easy reach of all the important historic sites; just a stone's throw from the spectacular Duomo and Baptistery. The flat was immaculately clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful stay in her beautifully renovated place that is a perfect combination of modern amenities and Italian charm. Sue was so friendly and knowledgeable and give us lots of ideas for things to do and see during our stay in Florence.
