Just a step away from the Duomo. You can not get close to the city, you're in town! The ideal location that offers you the best of the city a few steps from the Santa Maria Novella train station, from the most important monuments and museums of Florence, from the fabulous fresh products of the Central Market. Entertainment options in every corner, cafes and restaurants. This apartment features 1 queen bedroom, 1 spacious bathroom, an open-plan living area with a double sofa bed, a modern kitchen with gas stove and quality appliances, split-system heating and cooling, a washing machine, a dryer, an iron ironing board, detergents, freezer, bed linen and towels, internet connection, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, Sky, large windows have double glazing and mosquito nets.

Situation

Logement très fonctionnel et bien équipé. La situation de l'appartement est idéale dans Firenze. Le check in a été fait de manière très efficace. L'appartement dipose de tout ce que vous avez besoin (tablette lessive et lave vaisselle)

Central, Modern and Efficient

Property is moments from the Duomo, central and walk able to all our our activities. Expect busy streets at most hours of the day and noise especially on weekends. Apartment is accurately described with a private bedroom, small kitchen and living room with convertible sofa bed. it was great for our family of 3. Apartment was clean,building was safe and had small elevator which was great for luggage. Property manager was easy to work with and prompt. We loved our stay for three nights!

The only good thing was the location…

This apartment was not at all as listed. The location was good; just a few steps from the Duomo. Other than that, I can’t recommend it. When we arrived, the entire apartment had a foul odor, much like sewage. I contacted the host, who sent someone the next day to address the problem. Still it’s disconcerting that the smell was there in the first place. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and the elevator barely accommodates 2 people. One morning, it didn’t work at all. The washer/dryer took forever (hours) to dry clothes. The apartment had no natural light, and the electric lighting was insufficient. Sheets and towels seemed to have been used for years. All in all, I would have left after the first night but there was not a hotel room to be had in any decent Florence hotel.

Fantastic location right in city centre. Could be a bit noisy at night times, but to be expected being right in the city and with the windows closed, it wasn’t too bad. Easily walkable to main Florence attractions with a 6 and 7 year old. Room met all our needs and the washer/dryer was great to refresh the clothes!!

Firenze at its finest!

Awesome location.....within 2 blocs of the Duomo. Very clean apartment. Ambra was fabulous and easy to communicate with. She even helped set up a taxi ride to the airport at 4:30am in the morning. Great apartment and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Very small, excellently located, safe apartment with inadequate kitchen

Spent six nights in well located, very small, secure 4th floor apt. Met as planned; easy checkin and checkout. Useful guide in apt. Excellent location within easy walking distance to everything, restaurants, sites, train station, etc. Tiny elevator, washing machine, good wifi, hot water, fluffy towels, large BR closet, many hangers, iron & board. Comfortable bed. Can be noisy at night. BYO earplugs, DW and laundry pellets, soap, etc. Misleading pictures make apt seem much larger than it is. Not for more than 2 people. Very small kitchen adequate for light breakfasts or snacks and completely inadequate for serious cooking. Poorly equipped and barely lit. (No scissors, peelers, paring knives, tongs; only 2 large plates, 3 small coffee spoons, lights not working, no tops for fry pans, etc.) Terrific location and other amenities make this a very good choice for two people who don't need or expect a well equipped kitchen.

Perfect little home to stay in

The owner was communicative throughout. The home was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was sleeping arrangements were downstairs and the only bathroom was upstairs. Also the bathroom was very cold and drafty. But the place was perfect for our getaway and comfortable and felt safe. the location was good. No issues finding street parking. The location was close to main “must do” activities such as the Arch, Bush Stadium, and Amheisur-Bush. Recommend you get a meal at Tucker’s steakhouse which is only blocks away from the home too!

Great location, excellent communication

This was a great little flat right in the heart of everything. Dimitri was super responsive and accommodating. The pictures do make it look a little bigger than it is, and I wish that VRBO would not allow a one-bedroom + pull out couch to be advertised as two bedroom as I missed that. But that’s on me. We had some small issue with odour on the first day and it was dealt with immediately. Overall it was a great little (and spotless) home base. Does get noisy as the neighbourhood is hopping, but you can’t beat the location.

Dimitri was an incredible host. Always able to reach and punctual with replies. The flat itself couldn’t be in a better location. So easy to walk to anywhere you need to get to. The apartment was clean and very quiet. 10/10 recommend to anyone!

Perfectly located, easy access apartment

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Special appreciation for the cupboard for storing luggage after we checked out but before leaving town. Let us make the most of our final morning in beautiful Firenze.

The apartment was great and Ambra was so welcoming & informative at check in! The street are noisy at night so ear plugs are a good idea. We thought it was worth it since the location was absolutely amazing!!! We saved so much time by being in the heart of it all!

Great Hosts and Apartment

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We are a couple in mid'60's and early 70's. The elevator is a 2 person one, but it worked well. Ambra, her son, her daughter, Serena and neighbor Tina helped us immensely in getting our late arriving luggage safely into the Apartment while we were out. A million thank you's to them all! The street noise may bother some if you don't have ear plugs but it dissipates after about 1 a.m. That said, the apt. is in the heart of everything. Thank you so much for a fine introduction to Italy!

Practically next door to the Duomo, this apartment has everything you need and is close to everything you wish to see. Florence is a walkable city and the place is perfectly located. Ambra is a lovely host.

Clean as a whistle, some cross cultural barriers

One tip; when you get to the building there is no button for Design Apartments or for Ambra; it’s the 4th floor so my guess is you hit the fourth button. Also, it’s a lot of stairs, so with your bags, you’ll want to use the elevator. The check in process was great; the woman who met us who said she was Ambra’s daughter, I believe, was very helpful and explained the home and neighborhood very well. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. We had a little trouble with the combo washer and dryer unit. I could not get my clothes to dry on any setting, and even after meticulously reading the manual, it still wasn’t working. I texted the woman I checked in with, who told me to read the manual. Later an older woman came over and tried to help but she spoke no English. In the end, we hung our clothes up Italian style and let them air dry- it was fine. If you’re planning to wash clothing, maybe have someone show you how!
