Located on the 4th floor, this apartment in the San Niccolò district, a favorite of the Florentines, is very close to Piazzale Michelangelo, Palazzo Pitti, and many other landmarks of the city center, as well as restaurants, shops, galleries and many other point of interest. As you walk into the apartment you find yourself in a hallway, leading on your left hand side to the master bedroom furnished with a double bed a wardrobe and a sitting area. Depending on your height you might need to duck your head a bit while entering the room, but once you are in you will be able to enjoy the wide space and bright light provided by the windows and the height of the ceiling. Here you will also find a mezzanine with a spacious desk. Walking back to the corridor on the right side you will find, next to the entrance door, the second bedroom, furnished with a wardrobe 2 single beds (which can become a double bed) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Down the corridor there is a large built in closet, which can be very useful for longer stays. Next to the closet, you will find the second bathroom, also fitted with a shower. The last door of the corridor is the third bedroom, also fitted with two single beds (which can also be made into a double bed) and a chest of drawers. The corridor leads to the living area, a cozy and bright space in which you can relax after a day of exploring the city. Here you will find a dining table, which comfortably seats four guests; next to i there is a beautiful and comfy sofa. In this room you can also find the door to a balcony which brings natural light into the room. Through the living area you will access the fully equipped kitchen were you can make your favorite dishes. The apartment has mostly hardwood floors combined with terracotta tiles. All of the bedrooms and living room are fitted with AC units and there is WiFi internet connection throughout the apartment. The apartment was infested with mosquitoes and the management would not do anything about it. We had to purchase insecticide and clean and rid the apartment of the infestation ourselves. One of the toilet flush buttons malfunctioned and they never sent anyone to fix it, having said they would. Their concierge team was very quick to respond via email and phone, which was useful, but they were not responsive about fixing issues with the apartment. The apartment was very poorly stocked in the kitchen. There were only three spoons and two cutting knives. The electric coffee pot was filthy and unusable. On a bright note, their van service was excellent. We recommend using them for pickup and drop-off at the airport, as it is difficult to arrange for regular taxis in Florence. The location of the apartment is excellent, but we would not recommend it due to issues mentioned above. ##### Holly H. The neighborhood is nice with a delicious restaurant downstairs and a short walk to the city center. However there was not good water pressure in the showers and the VRBO listing mentions nothing about it being at the top floor of a tall building with no elevator. When the manager asked me if I was aware it was at the top floor before my stay, I asked how many floors it was and they did not respond. I only found out when we arrived that it requires 10 flights of stairs to enter the apartment which made it a very difficult climb for my mother. I wish I had known this beforehand. Otherwise the apartment was nice. ##### Brian B.
