Top Finta Hotel Reviews

Therme Airport Resort

Therme Airport Resort

8/10 Good
"This place was convenient for where we wanted to be near. It would be helpful to add bus stop place names on the information to advise those using public transport on how to get to the destination. There is a bus stop opposite to get off at, and the closest one was along to the right as you exit the hotel, and walk up to the main road. You just need to cross over and head left to the flower shop. Use the app as this was helpful and a bus card for 72 hours was about £3.60. There is a supermarket shop on the main corner. We didn't use it but would be ideal for getting in light provisions as we had a fridge in our room. I would suggest providing more toilet rolls as we went through 2 in 24 hours and had to request more - appreciated that being resolved. The rooms were ample space for the 5 of us. It does lack plug sockets being nearer to the bed, or didn't have one in a room. The socket near the table doesn't work. That area would benefit from a small sofa and moving the table elsewhere as it lacked a bit of comfort for the size. The bubble bath didn't work for the jets unless we weren't using it right. Breakfast was plentiful, and had a good selection. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it to others. It is very close to the spa but a long way to get into the Old Town, plan it all well!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Finta?
The best area to stay in Finta is around the commune centre, particularly near Finta Mare and Finta Veche.

This area offers the most convenient access to local amenities and a feel for the region. You'll find the local council building and the main church in Finta Mare, serving as central landmarks. The roads here are well-maintained, providing easy navigation to nearby villages and the surrounding countryside.

For couples looking for a tranquil escape, staying in a guesthouse or a converted traditional home in Finta Veche is ideal. This part of Finta offers a more rural and quiet setting with opportunities for walks through orchards and fields. It's superb for enjoying the peaceful Dâmbovița countryside and experiencing authentic village life.

Families might prefer the slightly more central Finta Mare due to its proximity to the local shops and any community facilities.
When is the best time to go to Finta?
The best time to go to Finta is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the landscape is at its most inviting.

During these months, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, ideal for exploring the natural beauty of Dâmbovița County. The fields and forests surrounding Finta are particularly picturesque, making it an excellent time for leisurely walks or enjoying the local agricultural scenes. It's also a good period for visiting local farms or historical sites without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter.

For those looking to enjoy outdoor activities like hiking or cycling in the wider Dâmbovița region, these periods offer the best conditions. The roads are generally good, and the moderate temperatures make for a more enjoyable experience.
