« We have just stayed here for 4 nights and would highly recommend. The room was very clean and had everything we needed .Even though we were on the ground floor at the back we did not experience any noise from the bar or restaurant. In fact the only noise we heard was the cars on the gravel in the car park. The food was excellent there was so much choice for breakfast. The evening menu was amazing all locally sourced food. We tried several dishes and all of them were so tasty and the portions...

« Nous avons demandé un thé vers 11:00 pour y accueillir un ami, réponse: “there is no service now”. Puis nous avons demandé pour un entretien avec notre visiteur, au calme car il y avait un match de foot dans le grand salon et beaucoup de bruit, sollicitant de nous mettre dans un salon annexe, réponse: “no that’s not possible”. Déplorable…. Nous n’y retournerons pas »

« We stayed a week & had our dog with us, were made most welcome by the owner & staff. The main dining room was excellent and newly refurbished. Our room was cleaned an linen changed several times during our stay. Breakfast was excellent and great value the service was excellent and even the dog got her sausage. There were several lovely walks for the dog within a short distance & all locals were very friendly. Lost of historic places to visit not to far to travel. Lindisfarne / Holy island....
