"We had an amazing stay at Vila Milreu! We were made to feel very welcome even when we arrived really late. The staff are brilliant and extremely friendly. The hotel is gorgeous, especially the pool area. The grounds are beautiful. The whole hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and filling with plenty of different foods to choose from. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area."
"Lovely architecture blending an old palace with ultra modern rooms and an infinity pool. The breakfast offers an extensive and delicious options. Dinner menu was varied and sophisticated. Highly recommended for a visit"
"The only thing I can find fault with is this.
The house is advertised as a B&B but I was asked to pay for breakfast upon arrival 10 Euros. I prefered to walk to the marina for a restaurant breakfast"
"Perfect location on Marina, close to Old Town. Excellent breakfast, sun terrace and rooftop bar and pool. Near to train station, caught a 45 mins train to Tavira, well worth it"
"We booked a private room here for only $101 for 2 nights. The room was cosy, clean and spacious. The staff were lovely. Very conveniently located in the city centre "
"We were pleased and surprised by the comfort and cleanliness of this place. We had a restful night and the hotel shuttle took us back to the airport on time in the morning. "

"The hotel is old but has a character to it. The staff on the front desk were wonderful and super friendly. A platter of fruit and a large bottle of water were provided on arrival. Tea abd coffee making facilities in the room. No lift but only 2 floors. Rooms were dated but spacious and comfortable. There was a balcony overlooking the lagoon which was very relaxing. I would avoid dinner here, there are plenty of better options nearby. The breakfast, however, is wonderful and plentiful. The rooms can be noisy in the evening from the resident band and singer (awful) but it finishes at 11pm. I would stay again if I was jn the area. Convenient for the airport and Uber cost about €6 each way.

"Close to train station and walkable to all sites. Clean and felt safe walking at night although area around by street view had made me a bit wary of the area but was unfounded."
