"This is a lovely villa set all on one level which is ideal for families. Lovely outside space with pool, nice size rooms, comfy beds and brilliant location. Short stroll from resort reception, Praca, beach. Less than 5 mins from tennis centre. We will certainly be booking again. Philippa the owner could not have been more helpful with my various annoying questions and issues with the App (tip - use a PC not your mobile)."

"We arrived at the villa and were met by Joao who was very helpful. The villa itself is stunning and spacious and the surroundings are beautiful. There were a lot of dogs barking and cockerels doing their earl morning chorus but that was a part of being in the countryside. Preferable to road noise! Everything was positive apart from the annoying wasps. Be sure to take spray. The other really important thing is to ensure that you have a car. The villa is in the middle of nowhere which is lovely...

"My family and I stayed at Kate’s house for over a month in the Easter holidays. The home was perfect for us, all the modern amenities you need, very spacious, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, and great for families, especially ours with our toddlers. The pool area has sun all day. Very close drive to beach, restaurants, shopping, and water park. Can’t recommend it enough! We loved it. Will be back x"

"We enjoyed our 3 weeks in Vale do Lobo. The property has wonderful views of the ocean from the rooftop, great for morning coffee and sunsets. The location could not be better, just a few minute walk to the beach and to the main clubhouse. The townhome had everything we needed for our stay, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The lower two bedrooms are a bit on the smaller side of you were to have adult guests but would be perfect for a family."

"Wonderful home with a wonderful view. Large, private, villa just up the hill from charming Santa Barbara de Nexe. Only 20 minutes to the Faro area beeches. If you are a cyclist, the rolling hills of Algarve are right outside your door. BTW, a day in Seville is only 2 hours away. We had six adults and 1 teenager and it never felt crowded."

"Stayed with family including kids and grandparents. The home is big and modern and clean with a beautiful private large yard and pool.We really enjoyed sitting outside and using the pool. One note that the house is not two villas as the listing says but really one large home where you could close off a section. Most homes we have visited have been better stocked so know that you need to get everything yourself even trash bags and cleaning supplies. There is no self check in or check out option...

"We don’t normally travel to Portugal in April but we needed a break after a harsh winter. The villa was situated in a lovely, quiet setting but also within walking distance of the golf Club and the Praça. It was lovingly and comfortably furnished and it felt like staying in a friend’s home. Having the pool, the terrace and the garden meant that each member of the family could find their own personal oasis to relax, sunbathe or work. We hope to return again as it was definitely the loveliest...

"This was the most incredible rental property from start to finish. The photos do not begin to capture the beauty and amenities of the property. Pool area is incredible. Close to airport for efficiency but no noise. Cleaning crew comes daily. The best part is the host and the amenities he offers. Sergio was communicative from start to finish. Built into the cost are 3 massages (extras are only 30€ each - and they were incredible), a daily cleaning crew, a boat tour, and 1 yoga session. Anything...

"Lovely modern house in a great location. Almancil is neautiful and convenient to local attractions, people here are so friendly and accomodatiing. Chris was a great host and replied quickly to email queries and even allowed us a late checkout. Would have been nice to have black out blinds or shutters as very bright in the mornings from 6am, a washing machine would be handy too but these are only minor things as overall house is fab!"

"Catarina was an amazing host, she allowed us to check in early due to BA cancelling our original flight. I had elderly parents who were very greatful. All villa was equipped with all the facilities. It was very clean. We were in Almacil for my brother's wedding but I will definitely be returning."

"We enjoyed our beach Christmas. We loved walking over to the 2 cafes. Plenty of blankets to snuggle in at night. Plenty of dining options even in the off season. Easy to get to by Uber or ferry, there is also a bus but the construction on the bridge means the stop is far away. For Uber, make sure you look at google maps so you can get from the street to the house easily. Once you’ve done it it’s easy but the first time in the dark can be fun! There is a local airport however there only...
